News & Events: GPB Community Day FREE Happy Healthy Kids Day at GPB Featuring Super Why!   Saturday, September 27, 2008 - 10:00 AM-3:00 PM 260 14th Street, NW Atlanta, GA 30318 (Please visit GPB.org for an easy way around the 14th Street Bridge closing and details about the repaving project!)   Georgia Public Broadcasting invites kids of all ages to Happy Healthy Kids Day at GPB. Wander through the GPB Farmer’s Market, where you can sample fresh produce, or stop by the GPB Barn and pat the miniature horses, goats, sheep and chickens! Spend the day enjoying storytellers, singers, bands and magicians. There will be face painters, clowns, crafts and games. And don’t forget your camera as we welcome all of your favorite characters: Curious George, Clifford, Word Girl, Princess Presto and Wyatt from Super Why! Learn about two new PBS children’s programs, Martha Speaks, based on the beloved book about a family dog who learns to talk, and Sid the Science Kid, a new animated puppet series created by Brian Henson, son of the visionary puppeteer, Jim Henson.
