Surgery Center at Mt. Zion will officially move to its new home at Spivey Station this spring. After a year of hard work, the Center is spreading its wings and transforming healthcare into something beautiful—just for you.
We invite you to a FREE community fair and grand opening celebration taking place at Spivey Station on Sunday, May 3, 2009, from 2 – 5 p.m. This FREE community fair – with fun and health-oriented activities for all ages – is a way for our Southern Crescent community to celebrate this new community resource and learn about making healthy choices.
Festivities, Family Fun and 360degrees of Healthy Living:
- Enjoy live music by Atlanta’s KingSized, purveyors of swing, soul and rock n’ roll
- Pony rides, animals, games, crafts, snacks and giant inflatables
- Health information/screenings on hearing, snoring, heartburn, men's health, women's health, facials, lap band for weight loss, a live cooking demonstration,ideas for using Wii for family fitness and more!
- Explore local organizations and businesses promoting 360degrees of healthcare
- Raffles and prizes, including pilates classes, rounds of golf and more!
- Tour the state-of-the-art Spivey Station Surgery Center, including the patient computer lab and café, special children’s waiting and recovery rooms, telesurgery capabilities and more exciting innovations new to the Southern Crescent.
